Tinta Roriz (Aragonez) - Touriga
Tinta Roriz, also known as Aragonez, is a red wine grape grown in the Douro and Dao regions of Portugal. It is often blended with Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca to create dynamic and modern red wine styles. These grape varieties are used to make both dry table wines and fortified wines such as Port. Tinta Roriz provides deep color, solid acid structure and pronounced tannins, while Touriga Franca adds bright fruit aromas and sweet spice. This blend is known for producing some of Portugal's finest dry red wines.
