"A bright wine in all respects. The cherry/bun spice aromas are vivacious, and the palate is medium-bodied, with gentle, savoury tannins. ★★★★ "

"With the warmer weather settling in, this is a versatile red that just fits nicely into the Australian drinking conditions. The Italian grape varietals have tended to work well here and this has now become an established varietal here. The cool climate region of Orange origins of this one has worked well for the fruit and ultimately the wine. Deep ruby red in colour, it shines in the glass and exudes classic red cherries, ripe strawberries, black olives and forest floor aromas. Fruit driven, edgy and with savoury dimensions, it is balanced drinking. The acidity is soft and fresh. The alcohol is there but not OTT. The oak is fine and in check. Very nice easy to drink, quality in both the fruit and winemaking stakes. Had it with Spaghetti carbonara."
