SILVER MEDAL WINNER - LONDON WINE COMPETITION 2022
This premium cool climate Shiraz is a full bodied wine with great focus. It has a lovely balanced and complex structure with approachable yet drying tannins that will further integrate with time in the cellar.

Winemaking Highlights
The best Shiraz from the Angullong vineyard was fermented with a submerged cap with twice daily pump-overs to extract colour and flavour. The wine was then matured in French Oak puncheons (30% new, 70% 2 and 3 year old) for 12 months.

91 Points - James Halliday, Australia Wine Companion
A cooler year iterated as a sheath of peppery tannins and violet, anise, verdant herb, tapenade, clove and boysenberry aromas. Maturation in French oak (30% new) has imparted a savoury underbelly of cedar and smoky charcuterie notes. The finish, a bit shins and elbows; the reduction, still palpable. A little more time may bring greater poise, but my bet is on drinking this young.
