A few rows of this gregarious & misunderstood grape perched upon a windswept hill in cool climate Elgin allow us a rare opportunity to achieve optimal ripeness ‘n flavour while retaining acidity to craft a wonderful rendition of this Rhone-ranger. Hand harvested, barrel fermented & matured in large format Hungarian oak, left to its own devices over winter and blended into tank for two months of before bottling unfiltered & unfined.
Best served lightly chilled enjoyed with rustic poultry dishes, an autumnal snoek on the braai, Cape Malay dishes or selection of fine fromage and charcuterie. Cellar with confidence.
